Finished Set Piece:
Royal Opera House Contest
I was chosen to enter a competition organised by The Royal Opera House for the Romeo and Juliet Ballet. My set design was the one selected by my College to compete against others for the ROH Contest. We were to create either a set, a costume or a marketing poster based on the Ballet: Romeo & Juliet.
Unfortunately, I didn't win the competition. However, this contest was incredible to take part in and gave me the opportunity to try and experience something brand new to me: set designing.

Turner House Competition
In this project, we worked with an artist called J.M.W Turner. Our pieces were seen and judged by people from The Friends of Turner's House.
I was nominated and received a prize for my final piece.
Here (right) is the final piece: a collage of sunsets, from pictures taken every 30 minutes, as well as a soft pastel landscape.
